Which filter for a 75 gallon tank?

Hi everyone. I just joined this forum and would like some help ;)

I'm getting 2 turtles for my 75 gallon. I have everything ready for the tank, except for the filter. Since i'm living in Dubai, not many filters are available. Only Fluval and Eheim are available. I thought of buying the Eheim 2217, but I heard that Fluval filters are also quite good. Would love if you guys would recommend me a good filter. I'm thinking if using dual Eheim 2217.

Welcome! Around here, the FX5/6 are very good values. The 2217 is good but might not be up to the task for 2 turtles. How big are they now?

I'm getting new baby sliders, so i'm basically going to buy all of the top items to save myself from upgrading. The Fluval FX6 is pretty expensive, are they really worth the price? It seems that i'm gonna get a 125 gallon tank now, so I might as well get the fluval fx6.

EDIT : Is the turtle topper reliable for the baby sliders?? This one to be exact http://puu.sh/atB9K/b2fe63e2f0.jpg

The FX filters are reasonable priced in the U.S., not sure in Dubai. The turtle topper is OK, but I don't like it. Its also too small for a 125 gallon, unless you do a little modification.

The fx6 or 5 will keep a 125 gallon tank crystal clear. The nice thing about the fx6 is it comes with media. How much are they there?
