Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

does anyone have one? and if so what is it? what gave you the idea? build it from scratch, or buy stuff at the aquarium store? any pictures?

I'm currently working on a Cajun bayou tank, complete with toy gators and a little stilt hut with an old man in his rocking chair with shot gun and moonshine sleeping. still in the layout stages so no pics. but should be fun once done. so that's why i'm wondering if there are others.

I can't think of any in particular off the top of my head.
People have river theme's and castle themes, and ...well a lot of themes....so why not?
Maybe you will have to build some things by hand to get what you want, maybe some things will be at the store.
A complete non-answer, but...
Go with what you love. As long as what you put in there is not harmful (toxic paint, things small enough to swallow, or sharp edges) then dream away!!!!
All I know is there was not a turtle topper to be found that fit what I envisioned, so I had to build it myself.

(can't you give a little sneak preview?)

the only pieces i have is one gator toy. (going to gator land this weekend in florida so i'm sure i'll find more.) and the rocking chair for the old man. and the layout with cutouts drawn up for base platform. i haven't even gotten a chance to cut out the platform.

My kind of thinking!
Please start a build thread when you get stuff moving. It sounds exciting!

How big will that tank be? Expect them to destroy that moss ball :)

^^My tank is much to small at this point to start themeing. That and I have a raging algae problem. Maybe you could check out the other indoor habitat threads for some. :)
