Hi i recently had a problem with getting a new canister filter and i just picked up a jebo 838 canister, got it cause it was on sale for cheap and flows 317gph with 4 seperate basket for filtering. My question is at first it didnt go together very well and when i hooked it up when i cut off the flow into the filter it would just stop the flow out, but after messing with it a little now when i shut off the in valve it still flows water out. is this normal and how its supose to be working? Thanks!!

I don't know that filter, but are you referring a stopper valve? Was it plugged in both times?

In most filters, the power needs to be off when you use the stop valve.
