Nice job shopping... That looks exactly like the same kit I would buy for a new tank :D

If you think that eheim heater is long, check out the aqueoun brand heaters next time your at the local pet store. You could pole vault with one of those.

We moved him and all the fish in today. And Changslearning how to be hand fed. New video is on it's way tomorrow when I have time. Thanks for watching it! It was one of the final purchases for the time being so I tried to get asmuch out of the way as I could. And he LOVES the Hikari foods. Question, at what levels of ammonia/nitrates/nitrites do you change water?

after the tank cycles, your ammonia and nitrite should remain at 0 (if you have proper filtration)

your nitrates will climb and the water changes are to keep those numbers in check. a monthly water change of about 10% should keep your nitrates somewhere under 20ppm.
