Habitat - Indoor :: Question On Light

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

Hey guys,

Ive just got a fast question on Lighting.

So basically, my current lighting setup is, I have a uvb/uva strip light which is the full length of my tank with a basking bulb.

My little turtle...(or was) is moving homes into a bigger tank soon (250L) 4 foot long sorry i have no idea what it is in gallons.
And I would like to use the MVB cause of course it gives of rays, and heat.

Would I be okay with a 100w zoo med MVB/zoo med's deep dome (or something similar) just over the basking spot?
Or would the light have to most of the water as well?

Thankyou:)

You don't have to light the water, just the basking area

Just an FYI, the deep dome is not a clamp lamp, you will need to buy a stand to hang it or use something like shelf brackets or plant hangers.
