Guys have a look at this:

What are those two parts glued at the top?

My new tank ordered today just came in and it already had those things. They obstruct my idea of a dock. I removed them. Did I just void the 3 year old warranty for durability and make my new tank prone to break ? The tank is 37cm high. How much water can I pour in now?

They are most likely so the ank can hold a lid. But yes, altering the tank in anyway usually voids warranty.

I now know they are what may be called "reinforcements". The purpose is to keep the long panes straight and prevent them from warping (bulging) because they bear the pressure.

Ok so I have a new tank and I don't know whether I can use it or if it's useless and dangerous... lol.

Anybody skilled in physics? 72cm x 40cm x 37cm [water level max 25cm], glass thickness 6mm. Will it hold?

Oh...hmm since it's rimless probably not. Try to silicone them back on.

Reinforcements like braces should span the entire length or width. If the water level is kept at 25cm, you're looking at 72liters (20 gallons) of water.

Was the 25cm water mark part of the directions? What's you're idea for a dock? How easy were those things to remove?

Pretty easy. I mean the silicone was tough, but just a couple of cuts with a razor and it was done.
The dock will be a shelf hanging on pegs from the three walls of the tank. It will be as wide as the tank and I will slide it from above until it stops on the pegs.
