Hey guys ive been thinking what if i put sand in my aquarium instead of rocks? because my turtles seem to have some trouble getting up those what seem to be mountaines rocks for my quarter sized turtles and i was just thinking and BAM  sand! but then i thought sand would probably produce salt? can red eared sliders survive in that kind of water?

My turtle loves sand, i'd never set up another turtle tank without it.
