Fluval FX5 stop valves stuck... is there a trick?
Posted: Tue Apr 05, 2011 1:47 pmI have 2 FX5 filters. None of the "aquastop" valves will budge, so I doubt it's a defect. Is there a trick?

Posted: Tue Apr 05, 2011 3:13 pmyeah, they are stuck from the factory. You need to losen (gently turn them) before hooking them up to the canister. mine were like that also. Once they move from their "stuck" position they are no problem. It shouldn't take too much force to move them.
