hello everyone. just found this site the other night looking for some info on my RES. wish i had found it a long time now. i have two RES that are 6 years old. when i got them they were just a couple of inches the length of their shell. i just measured them last night and they are now 8 inches the length of their shell. they will be moving into their 4th home here shortly. they started in a 20 gal turtle tank. nexted they moved into a 40 gal. then to a 100 gal where they have been for a few years and now they will be moving to a125 gal. now that i found this site and got some great ideas im pretty sure they will make one more move to a 180 or 210 gal. i have the tank and filter all plumbed and as soon as my acrylic guy builds my ATBA they will be moved to the new tank.

Looks like a great tank! There's a video of someone's custom acrylic turtle tank that's pretty inspirational... I'll try to find it.

*edit*

new tank looks awesome. and ya my turtle absolutely loves sand, she digs and plays around with it alot. I think she likes the way it feels also since shes usually crawling around in it.

the water level in the 100gal was low for their basking rock. now that i have found this site and learned about the ATBA the 125 will be full.
