Which would you recommend to provide UVB? - I have already UVB basking lamp but need a fluorescent to light up the rest of my tank, may aswell provide UVB at the same time!

Repti Glo and Reptisun are popular UVB bulbs. Make sure whichever you use has a "burn in" period before use in the tank.

Reptisun 5.0 or 10.0?

And what is the burn-in period?

Do the UVB rays penetrate the water at any beneficial levels? If so, does anyone know of a bulb wattage to water depth penetration type chart?

I thought of lighting the rest of my tank with a LED future (MVB basking area). If the fluorescent UVB tubes penetrate the water, I'd go the same route as clever king.

UVB rays do not penetrate the water. At least not enough for what it's needed.

1 Leopard Gecko - Leia (20 gal)
