Habitat - Indoor :: Is this algae? and is it bad for my RES's

I have this growth in my tank. Is it bad? Is it algae? What do I do?

yes, that's algae. no, it will not harm your turtle. you can scrub it off with a rag/old toothbrush, leave it, or try to cut down on the lighting that area receives.

this kind of bright green algae come from strong exposure to light.
its harmless and you can leave it there if you like how it look.
