Has anyone ever used the Reptology Turtle Topper? If so, is it a good buy? I have a 37 gal tank for the moment. Pros? Cons?

I have one. Just make sure your tank isn't wider then 13" (or was it 12"?) and it will fit on it.

Pros:
-sturdy
-can still be used by an 8" turtle (since mine is that big and he gets into it just fine)
-has places for the clamp lights

Cons:
-looks very very fake. Totally obviously plastic.
-won't last your turtles their life time since they will eventually outgrow it
-it only fits up to a 55 gallon tank
RES: Turtley - about 9" (She makes it a mission to measure her. :/)
Musk: Bolt - 4.5"
Mutt: Gaviota - small

I have a turtle topper as well, but someone gave me my topper. I dont know what kind of turtle you have, as some turtles could use this topper the rest of thier lives (like some of the mud, maps, and musk turtles, although some of these turtles dont bask as much as RES or painted turtles). But it should last you until your turtle is 8 or 9 inches. I just find it hard to pay 50 bucks for something that isint going to last very long, when I can build a much better looking ATBA for $50. Heck I could build a turtle condo with $50

my turtle is a 5 in yellow bellied slider turtle, we believe he is a male. he is about 1.5 yrs old and wild caught as a hatchling...well rescued from my aunt who kept him in a bowl and fed him bread to eat, lol. He is a thriving turtle :) He LOVES to bask, but loves to swim more. I don't have anyone to purchase materials for building for me (much less build it as i am not a handy person) since i do not drive. so things i can order online are my best bet, even if more costly in the long run =/

It will fit your tank and should last your turtle many years as he isn't going to jump 4 inches any time soon. :)
