HElllo everybody!!!!!!!! I was wondering that this kind of filter foam http://www.bigalsonline.com/StoreCatalo ... 12&offset= is able to grow beneficial bacteria?????

Anything can grow beneficial bacteria on it but thats the filtration part, thats not ment really ment to growlarge amount of beneficial bacteria. You need like bio spheres or some plastic item with lots of holes.

i use pot scrubbies. but i have some of those foam lying around so i dump them in too
