:P

mY TURTLe looked a little down, i dont know if is because she is alone and came from the wild... anyways, after getting a basking floating dock and other things, i decided to buy a air pump and a fish. I also got minnows to feed my turtle...

here are the questions:

- after looking at the picture and video, what do you think about the fish? will it survive this habitat?

- the minnows how do i feed the turtle, in the tank or separate... the fish is so tiny I'm afraid it will go through the filter/pump?

pics and videos for reference!

THANK THANK AND MORE THANKS!

honestly, you turtle could probably care less if there is a fish. it might just give him something to chase around later.

common goldfish grow very large- which is why most people have them die on them very early- they put them in tanks that are two small for them to live to a happy healthy age. they also produce A LOT of waste. and its bad enough turtles do too already. just a heads up.

if your worried about the minnows being sucked into the filter, what i do when i have fry is take a piece of panty-hose and an elastic and put it around the intake. but those minnows dont look that small to me anyway.

you can feed them seperately, it would probably be easier if u fed them by hand seperately. but i would just let them swim around and wait for the turtle to catch them on his own

Hey.... thanks for the advice.. i followed... everything but the panty-hose...lol...

the turtle looks like its getting used to the fish being there, the goldfish is way bigger than the turtle...

the minnows are fine... they can swim against the filter suction..

i'll keep u posted once something happens...THANKS!
