Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

I decided that we wanted to make a ATBA so we went ahead and got a new canister filter tonight. That thing was a nightmare to get it going. I primed the canister, put water in it, did everything so I thought was right and it still wouldn't work. It came down to the top of the basket strainer..the part the connects the basket to the suction tube was above the water line and it wasn't sucking water. I bet I spent 2 hours screwing around with that thing, but I think we will like it. It is a Cascade 700. We also removed the gravel that we had and put in play sand. It was already cleaned and natural. So the package says. This weekend the wife and I will work on the ATBA. Will post pictures!! Please any feedback on the filter that we got.....

It just takes awhile to get used to, like changing and refilling the tank. Once you get the hang of it, it gets much easier and quicker to do.
