i just got a 4ft 100 gallon tank?
the height of it is 26 inches

is that too deep for 2 baby RES? about less than 3 inches

i will probably fill it to about 20-22 inches of water

I keep hatchlings in deep water with no problems, but many here will advise otherwise.
If you want to be "safe", keep the water as low as the filter can handle and increase the water a few inches a month.Otherwise just fill it and take your chances if they seem comfortable.

tallenskinny!! I see you everywhere! Yes some people don't suggest it but I look at it as real life training for the babies. Just give them some plants at different elevations to rest on.
