Okay, my tanks algae problem has been out of control for a long time and it is getting rather tiresome. I read in a post that you can get water treatment for algae called algae clear, but my local stores don't have it. Walmart only has some tablets that fizz in the water. Petco has this product on their website: http://www.petco.com/product/102594/Aqu ... SiteSearch

One reviewer specifically says that they used it in their turtle tank. Anyone else ever used it? I want to make sure I'm not putting something in the tank that is going to hurt me RES.

I haven't, but I know a few users have with no issues. I usually avoid using additional products with my turtles and algae isn't harmful. Is there excessive light hitting your tank?

Well i have a horrendous algae problem doesnt matter what i do and i have used that product as well and it hasnt helped. It was recommended by the guy who does the turtles at my local pet store. I dont even have algae that sticks to the tank its just turnng the water green. Wont hurt him but looks ugly.
