hi..i'm new here..and i just got my uvb bulbs yesterday..
i just want to know the right distance between the lamp and my turts...
FYI,my thermometer shows 30c when the lamps is on..is it ok for them?

that bulb is getting the basking area to 30 degrees C?

the distance really depends upon the bulb type and intensity. Which bulb are you using?

Do you have the original packaging of the bulb? The recommended distance should be written on it.

yes..in normal condition..it indicates 27 degrees C..now the distance i'm using is 10inch..i'm using exo terra repti glo 5.0 16w..

recommended distance is between 10-12 inch..
