Hey guys,
It's been a while since i have been here, but my little ninja is doing good, and I have discovered that ninja is a she! Fun times...

Okay, so the tank that ninja is in has lime build up on the tank. And I am just wondering what is the safest way to get the lime out of the tank? I wouldn't be able to to use that Lime Away on it, right?
That's right I said it.

Use plain white vinegar from the grocery store. It's safe.

not from me. vinegar works on the stains the hard Philly tap water leaves behind. just make sure you rinse very well before refilling the tank.

I would never ever, ever use something like Lime Away o.o

Plain ol white vinegar works for me - I get a bulid up where my output is on my filter as I like to make it agitate the surface of my water in the tank, so there's always splatter/deposits on the glass. I just put a little vinegar on the tip of a towel and wipe it away.

Also, if you don't want to drain the tank, a razor blade works great too. Only if your tank is glass, of course.
