Currently I have my turtle (she's 2.5" long") in a 10 gallon tank, I was wondering at one point do I need to upgrade her to like a 30 long? Also I'm having a little trouble with water heat. The heater I'm using is for a 10gallon tank however even with only has about 2.5 gallons and the heat is not reaching the 77+ degrees consistently. Is there anything I can do differently, like multiple heaters?

B-Bob - Turtles require 10 gallons per inch of carapace. The 30 gallon will last a while but you can cut your cost down by skipping the next step and go to a 55 gallon. One 250 watt will do find in that size tank. Just make sure that it is secured in the tank enough that it will not get broken. When dealing with the filter make sure that it pumps five times the water volumne per hour.
Things come to those who wait, - Just remember, someone probably got there first!

Yep your turtles ready. I keep my baby turtles in a 10 gallon until they hit 1.5-2 inches. Then i know there good to take any amount of water.
