Habitat - Indoor :: ATBA

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

I am trying to figure out a way to turn my spare 5 gallon tank into an ATBA. I thought I could remove the bottem and replace I with egg crate or something like it.
My problem I'm having is how to attach it on top of the tank. I need to be able to secure it so it won't fall off.
I have cats so it needs to be a strong hold. Any suggestions?

You could try drilling a hole through the glass, but that honestly sounds like an iffy idea. I don't think there's really a good way to work with that.

use it as a separate heated feeding container. that way there's less cleaning for the filter to do in the main tank.
