The one in the middle is the most active and bossiest and sometimes mean to the little one. The big one is very gentle and lets the two climb on his back to bask..quite a sight.

The little one is trying hard to be like the middle one..he/she has gotten alot more social and less scared of me. Overall they seem very happy.

They like digging through the river rock looking for something..I just don't know what..

Okay, i suggest you get rid of the gravel asap for prevent any damage to the turtles. But neat movie. It is a sight.

The "picking" on the others thing could be an early sign of aggression. Your tank is really too small to house three turtles. I would watch them closely to make sure fighting does not escalate. It is possible for one turtle to kill another!

The rocks you have in there now may be large enough for your turtles. However, as your turtles grow, the risk will only increase. You should really go for something TINY (like sand) or something large enough that they can NEVER swallow (think as wide as a golf ball)

That looks like a 30 or 40 gallon... Too small for that population. A 55 to 75 gallon will do just fine.

I think your turtles need things to do. Try adding in an air stone, or some ping pong balls, and definitely artificial plants. Anything they can actively move around will give them other things to do besides argue. With a lack of space and being relatively bored, turtles will quarrel.

If that doesn't work, separate the middle one from the others. The middle one will eventually get on the bigger one's nerves, and the bigger one is old enough to cause some serious damage.
