Habitat - Indoor :: Re-arrangement heebie jeebies?

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

I come home from work to find my man modified the 3 RES's basking area for the better, doubled the room and added a little sandbox and some plants. I like it. However, he says they havent been up there yet and I'm figureing it is because their home was re-arranged. You think they might have the re-arrangement heebie jeebies?

Ok and the basking temp seems to be sticking around 90.3 that's about right isnt it? They also got new light fixtures the other day with a brand new uva uvb light.

Whats the water temp?

90.3 should be fine if they basked at that temp before, my turt prefers 95-96 though.

Water temp is room temp. I've never had a heater and they have been doing well :)

Okay, that is fine then, but it is not 75 all the time, so you should have a heater to protect from temp drops at night.

We are in a 2 bedroom apartment and they are in a 7 foot by 4 foot pond. It's always hot in here :)

wow, didn't know they were in a pond. that's a pretty big pond. But still, it would be good to have a digital thermometer for about 6 bucks to check basking and water temps.

Ok, here is their home. They are in there somewhere :) That is the pirahna (sp?) in the 10 gallon house on the shelf. You can see it's eye. It's hiding behind the fake plants I dunno if it's a boy or girl. So I call it....IT LOL

About 1.5 to 2 feet. somewhere around there. I have to add a 5 gallon bucket of water once or twice a week due to evaporation. I raised the koi from babies about 3 inches when I got em. The big orange one is a foot and a half or so, the medium sized one is just under a foot, and the smallest one is maybe a 3/4 foot. Hard to measure them LOL
