Habitat - Indoor :: Stupid Question??

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

So I have a stupid question about basking and have not found any pictures that really help I have a RES thats about 8in and need to build a basking spot in my 55 for him until outdoor enclosure is finished and then 2 baby turtles can go in 55 so does anyone have any ideas or pictures that would help? hes really big and enough room for him to move around when he gets to top of tank because the 55 is not very wide any help would be great thanks!

There's lots of pictures of basking areas in the habitat gallery section of the main site that you could check out for ideas. Have you looked at the zoomed basking dock? The largest one would probably work. There's also a nice acrylic basking ramp out too. A cheap option would be a big piece of corkbark, you can cut it to fit the width of the tank and wedge it in.
