Okay, so iv taken the measurements and just need to get the materials so I thought id show you guys the plans and ask a question or 2.

First, what is the benefits of and ATBA, when zoo med floating docks allow lots of swimming space?

The rest ill ask after I show you the pictures.





Anyways, my question is, do I need another wall of plexi glass to cover the front to avoid turtle escape? What do you guys think? Opinions and constructive criticism is always welcome.

Well, with a zoo-med dock the water can only be filled so high so it doesn’t really allow maximum swimming space with an above tank basking area the water can be filled to the top or very close to it. Another advantage is that it can provide a larger area for the larger turtles

I don't think you really need that wall as long as the two side walls are long enough so that s/he can't reach the top cover ("anti-escape wire").

so I would need to make the walls longer(which is the initial plan) but keep the water level so that he can't reach the wire also ? This keeps getting more confusing I think i need to just start building it and see what I come up with, as im having issues picturing all the ways my turtle might escape.
