I just found this on a site that posts sale items for my area, do you think it is turtle worthy? I think it's pretty, and Sisqo needs a better tank... It's not cheap but fairly priced I think.
Any input?

I would say yes. Ideally you want a longer tank but forty gallons and a stand for that uniquely (usually pricey) tank for under $100 is good. A 40 gallon long tank here costs like one hundred bucks but I hope to buy it during the dollar per gallon sale for forty so I'd say go for it.

I think its really a nice looking tank. I also think the price is fantastic (based on where I live and the price im getting for a smaller tank). I don't see why it would be bad for a turtle, but im still newish to the whole turtle thing.

Thanks for all the input guys I thought it was a pretty good deal.
Tanks here are very expensive too. I used to work in a pet store and am still on good standing with the owner, so so times I get good deals... just not on tanks lol.
Steve.
Sisqo is right at 5 inches long. His tank now is a 30gal turtle tank. I know it was a bad idea to get that one in the first place, but That was at least 6 years ago. Now I know a lot more than I did then.
I know the 40 still isn't exactly big enough for him, but it would definitely be an improvment on what he has now. Poor guy.

I'd buy it and find something to put in it! I paid well over $100 for my 40 gallon breeder alone. And if Sisqo is 10 years old and 5 inches, I don't think you have to worry about growing. I'd guess that if you put an above tank basking area on that, you'd be set for life.

Thanks Grem. I really love that tank! I recently, today actually, had someone price a 55 at 50$ but it's just the tank... So I don't know. I have the stand for a 55 but no filter or anything... I'm pretty sure Sisqo is finished growing... maybe he'll get fatter but I dunno he could surprise me.
Man I hate big decisions. Ha ha.
