I have two RES, and I am going to work on the basking (Sp) area next week, but for right now is it ok if I place then in a tank filled almost all the way to the top with a lid on it.

Also I can not cut on the heater because one of them keeps hiding behind it.[/img]

Well, they can't bask (until next week?) and they have no place to rest, which is especially not good if they're little hatchlings. They're supposed to tread water until then?

Surely you can get something for them to bask on temporarily until you get that basking area made...Do they have a UVB light and heat light to bask under?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by not being able to "cut on the heater"...

I have a heater for the that keeps the water at the right temp. And I said I have t wait a few days because my town does not have anything that I can pa a basking area from. They have the normal light but not a UV .
