Habitat - Indoor :: Very Confused on Filter for 100 Gallon Rubbermaid?!?!

Ok people, I have looked on many sites, talked to tons of people, and I still cant seem to find out which filter would be the best for my new turtle home which would include a 100 gallon stock tank. We are raising it up a bit so the water level should be about 26 inches approx., since we are just putting some support beams underneath so there can be some ventilation underneath.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS- I already read the topic on the 150 gallon stock tank, that didnt exactly help me too much, thats why I'm asking myself.

And what are the advantages of having a uv sterilizer vs not having one, thanks.

I would go with an FX5 myself, but I'm biased because I got one for my 90 gallon recently and I love it!
The FX5 needs to be at least 7.8" (20 cm) below the waterline. The filter is approx 17" tall, so if your waterline is 26", it will be OK. However, it won't be the most efficient, so it may be a little bit noisy.

As for the UV sterilizer, I think Cramer is the only one on the forum who has one, you should talk to him about that

I second the FX5(I use two on my 240 gallon tank)!! They are grate!!! They keep the water crystal clear!!!

My XP3 is doing a good job at keeping my 110 gallon stock tank clean.

I was thinking about the xp3, and i saw it was 15" at the top, and the water level would be about 26", would that be too low for it to work properly? also, what about the pressurized canister pond filters, like the tetra pond 1500 i think its called
