hola,
wats going on? alright i see all this complex stuff concering canister filters. thier more expensive, and u have to put those rings and plastic ball things in them too. i use those whisper filters, that u just pop the filter in and out like a toaster. is there something that im missing about canister filters? are they like waaaaayyy better? i cant afford one, but i just would like to know why the canister filter has so many fans. is it just for big tanks or something? im clueless,... so, i ask.

Puck -07 – I a word, canister filters are better than hang on and internal. They are bette,r in the sense, that they are easier to clean, quieter and in general pumps more water. They are a little more expensive but are worth it. All this may be a moot point.

Definitely worth it. Get good equipment - it is soooo much easier to maintain and lasts longer and does the job it's supposed to do.
