I have a 20gal tank, in the water conditioner instructions it said that I have to put 1 teaspoon per each 10 gal, so i putted 2 teaspoons but the water still smells like chlorine. That smell should go away or it always stays?

Try adding 1/2 of a teaspoon more and see if there's any improvment.

What conditioner are you using? Was it mixed in well with the water?

I am using AquaSafe of the brand Tetra. I added 2 teaspoon distributed all over the tank (20 gal), then I add a little bit more and the odor disapeared. My turtle doesnt have swollen eyes or anything like that so I guess the chlorine was removed.
