Habitat - Indoor :: Where is your turtle tank?

Just wondering where everyone is keeping their tanks.

All of my tanks are in apartments, either mine or Michael's. Napoleon and Moxie are in my dining room, and Michael has Hercules, Apollo and Shenanigans in his bedroom.

I voted pond as both my turts live outdoors all the time.

My son's baby map lives in his bedroom right now. We have a 55 gal on our kitchen / family room counter top (pass-through counter) that may be his new home soon. I have to see if the sealant leaks & try to find top edging first though. I'd like to have it there...

Donatello lives under the bed of my dorm room because I'm not supposed to have her at school. I don't know where she's going to stay at home for winter and summer break because I don't know where I'll be living during those times.

Leo's always lived in my bedroom, she's so enjoyable to watch so I like having her there. Plus, I don't think she'd enjoy someplace noisier like the living room with the tv.

I live in a second story apartment and Mikey lives in the living room. When we move into our house in July, he is going into the downstairs office/herp room.

Me and the 3 turtles live in my room which is in the basement.

I chose other because I live in a dorm. My tanks are on either side of my desk.

Donatello lives under the bed of my dorm room because I'm not supposed to have her at school. I don't know where she's going to stay at home for winter and summer break because I don't know where I'll be living during those times.

She lives in a tank...I don't just shove her there.
She has all the lighting and everything else that she needs and the tank is about the proper size (she's 3" with a 20 gallon breeder tank) and my frog's tank is right next to hers.
Basically, if the wrong person finds out that I have her or the frog at my school, I could lose my housing as well as my job as an RA and it's easier to just keep it under there instead of moving it everytime someone knocks on my door. It's much easier to just make sure the lights and filters are off before anyone comes in than to worry about an entire tank.
At home, my dad would say that it's my mom's responsibility to take care of my turtle (divorce is lovely) and while my mom would feed her, she wouldn't be too happy about cleaning the tank.
So yes, she lives under my bed and I have sheets hanging over my bed so no one can see underneath. And I usually spend most of the day with the sheet pulled up so I can watch her swimming around. =]

Penelope lives in my office/den where she/we can have some peace and quiet in an otherwise hectic household. Plus I get to sit with her all day while I work.

I live in an apartment & my babies tank takes up half of the living room wall =)
They have an awesome tank, while I sleep on an air mattress!!! wohoo!
