I think over the tanks are best because they allow the swim space and the most basking space. However, being that I'm poor, have no time, and have no room, I have a zoomed turtle dock.

Yea I agree. If I had a spare tank and extraordinary building skill I would make one. They're so cool! They offer the turtle room not only to bask, but to walk around on the land!

Napoleon loves his above tank basking area. He still has a zoomed dock to help him climb up onto it, but the extra space lets him have a wider temperature gradient, so he can plop down wherever he's comfortable.

My turtles love their acrylic.I think it is very nice and it has good suction.I think it should last them a couple years
