Can anyone recommend a good filter and heater for a 150 gallon tank?

I'll be getting a new tank soon, and I know for certain that my current filter and heater set-up isn't going to be enough. I currently have the Zoo-med 501 filter and a 15w heater for two 1.5” RES turtles. The turtles are going to grow bigger and I might add a few fish. I'm planning to make an above-tank basking area, so I will have 150 gallons of water (If my apartment can handle the weight, gotta check that first!!).

I was thinking of the Filstar XP4, but it seems underpowered. Same for the Hydor In-line heater I was eyeing. I looked at some pond filters but the ones I found only had biological and mechanical filtration, I would like to have chemical (carbon) filtration too. Should I get two filters and heaters then?

What would you recommend? Or if you have a similar set-up, what do you use?

I would personally go with 2 filters in a 150 gallon. Much more circulation and greater filtration. For my tank, I went with a good canister and cheaper hang on tank filter.

yeah, after doing more research I went for two XP3s and 2 heaters. And very many thanks for the Sticky on Big Al's!! It was the best price I could find!

They were also very friendly. One of the XP3 canisters arrived damaged and they quickly offered to send me a new one when I called...
