Hey people, I have a Filter called the ReptoFilter and it is in a 20 gallon tank with about 3/4 full of water. Every now and then there are lots of bubbles on top of the water and they stay there and never pop. There is also white bubbly things. My filter has a clean cartridge and everything seems to be going fine except for that. It keeps the water really clear but i really want to know what the bubbles are.

And when you look at the water it looks sort of slimy and stuff. Does anyone know what this could be?

Do you feed your turtles in or our of the pool? Usually when there's bubbles mean the pH is unbalanced or there is decomposing food in the tank.

and yea, the Reptofilter isn't all that good....lol I know, I have one.
