Is it better to purchase a turtle dock or a floating log for basking?

A floating log will move around and is therefore less stable. A dock is suctioned to one place and won't move around.

I have both. Mikey loves his log and he basks on his dock.

Then maybe in the future I'll get a log, but for now the dock will have to do because I don't want to spend more money! :lol:

I think the log would be more for playing get like one of those zoomed docks for basking

Which is better?
