I got a big 16" x 16" piece of ceramic tile from Lowes for like $2. They get as big as 18" x 18".

okay.... here are some pics of my new setup.. the temp is 78-80, there are two lights... UVB and regular, Filter, heater, turtle dock, water, 3 statues, a few medium river rocks, 2 guppies, and 1 very loved RES

My battery was a little low so I could only get 1 but here it is.

One more thing. You know the screened in part on the side. You need to make one on the vary back to prevent escape. Got one more picture.

yeah, it's a 10 gallon, its all i can afford right now, thats why i had the 2 level... If it is completely necessary, i will buy a Rubbermaid container when he gets bigger until i have enough money to buy the proper size tank

really? how do you have it set up? How big is he? If you didnt know my baby now is my first aquatic turtle... I've always had box turtles and a Mud turtle once..... I was exited to finally get an aquatic turtle...... So, if you could give me some other sites, Thank you again for all your help! you the only one who actually responds.....
