You have your 300 RubberMaid inside?
It's nice...how many turtles do you have in it again.

The more I see those, the more that I like them. The open designes of the stock tanks, people are making them look awesome.

I was drawn to the size for the money. 300 gallon for under $300. I just couldn't justify the money they wanted for a large glass tank and stand.

I understand. I'm into mine for a bit over 3,000$ so far and I'm not done yet.

Looks great. What's that thing on the far left? Looks like like a flap at water level.

Here's a few photos of my new set up its far from complete...what's got me puzzled though is my homemade filter is surging (I guess that what you would call it...I believe the pump maybe cavitating or air could be getting in the system) it runs quiet for about a minute then releases bubbles and a noise...it seemed alright when I first turned it on it ran quiet for about an hour or 2...I then took it down and washed it out made sure it was pretty clean and cleaned the impeller on the pump put it back together and it ran fine again...then started with the surging...I am wits end...I don't want fill tank and put up dock until I can solve the problem...but then again the water height maybe the problem?
I want to fill the tank up and see if it still surges...

Pics are kinda small, but could it be air being sucked up into the inlet?
