I noteced my water dropped about 1inch in about 2days? is this normal? good thing i have the floating dock,,,. but does this happens frequently?

also i fed my turtle today for the first time, he ate from my hands...
one day he eats more dry shrimp than others some more sticks...

what else can i feed my res at such a young age?

Items like shrimp should be a rare treat. Try veggies -- aquatic plants, carrots, red leaf lettuce... www.redearslider.com/plants.html

lol no, there are plenty of aquatic plants turtles will eat, mine love anacharis, but I gave up on planting them a long time ago. If they like it, they will mow it down. Nothing will grow quick enough
