are cumberlands always bright green and yellow bellys a dark colour? im trying to get a decent pic of tumble to show you but im really crap at taking photos ive already took like 20 shots and they are all useless. my missus is gonna try to get one. tumbles shell is dark with a kinda orangey pattern. he looks like a yellow belly but i was told he was a cumberland by the guy in the shop. however the cumberland you posted is bright green.

My cumberland is still young. I believe the shell progressively becomes more dull and less vibrant as it gets older. A YBS should have very little or no markings on its plastron, whereas cumberlands will. I am by no means an expert, this is a purely anecdotal observation.
