Now I'm not sure if it's a 50 or a 55, because some websites say a tank of its dimensions is a 50 others say it's a 55? Here are the dimensions.....

48 inches in length, 12 3/4 inches in width, and 20 inches in hieght.

What is it?

I get 52.99 gallons. So just call it 53 gal.

48x12.75x20 divided by 231.

See they use the same calculation I used! haha

Using that calculation my tank is actually something like 58 gallons. but still labeled as a 55.

Looks good!

On a side note, if you are having trouble getting your filter to pick up waste, and it becomes a hassle, you can always buy a Powerhead for pretty darn cheap. Like 20 bucks.

Just put it the same distance away from the sand, but aim it low to move the waste into the intake of your 350.

Just something to consider.

It won't pick up poop or little things like that but it cleans pretty good.

now thats what im talking about man. me and brent have almost the same setup (well when i actually set mine up it will be haha)

i think i will put the powerhead into consideration if my 400gph doesnt pick it up (which i think it wont...gay)

nice setup! maybe one of these days you can get a background man! i think it would make the tank look less empty, thats what i plan on doing.

As soon as I get some money I'm getting a background. I'm going to get them to cut it so that it covers the background and the left and right side. I'm going to get the same background as the one that was on my 10 gallon.

Hahaha, If you do get a powerhead, I would suggest the Eheim, just because of their better reputation and more quality filters, especially better than zoo med.
