Habitat - Indoor :: Higher water levels??

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

Oh I do have a water heater in there. It's just very small. It keeps the water at a constant 70 Farenheit.

Whoa, 70 is WAY to cold. You're turtle's water is supposed to be at 78 degrees, no lower than that. Get a new one, ASAP.

Water that cold can get you're turtle ill.

I tend to think 74-80 is an ideal temperature.

For turtles less than a year old 78-80F is good. After that you could lower it to around 75F. Some with RES a few years old have it even lower, around 70F.

I've checked the temp again and found out it was actually at 74...I looked at it wrong...lol I'm still buying a better heater, though. Whatever is best for my little Serra!

I really like your round rocks for a basking area. If i were you, I'd search around for some bricks. Place the bricks in a bucket filled with water for a day or two to get the dust off. Then I'd place the bricks under those rocks to increase the height, and thus you could increase the water level. Wah Lah.
