Habitat - Indoor :: Halogen and Reptisun

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

I have a Halogen bulb and Reptisun 10.0 concentrated on the basking spot. The Halogen will give off the heat and the Reptisun will give off the UV, is that good or is it too much?

Well from what you said, it's fine.

Except you should measure the temperature of the basking area with the halogen on, it may be too hot and may burn your turtle, if so, raise the halogen up higher or replace with a lower wattage bulb.

Remember, basking area temperatures should be around 10 degrees F higher than the water temperature, or on average 88-93 degrees F.
Hey hey hey.
