the basking area, or ''island" is large enough for both the turtles with extra room for another.

The menagerie: 1 cat//1 pleco////1 glass fish//2 snails//2 ghost shrimp//4 red ear sliders//5 tetras//5 guppies

I have a glass tank and I fill up my water halfway. I also put the basking island at water level. So far....NO ESCAPES!! I treat them well, so why in the world would they even think about escaping!! =) lol
