do they NEED gravel because its such a hassel to clean. lol :)

NO, you shouldn't have gravel anyway. Aside from the cleaning frustration, they can eat it. The gravel can become impacted and require surgery, or even cause death.

If you want a safer, easier option, go with some river rock. It's found in most pet stores. It will decorate the bottom of the tank, but be easier to clean around. The less you have in your tank, the easier it is to clean.

:) kay thanks. Its like the fish tank gravel that I have. lol I am taking it out pronto. I'm like redoing my whole tank.
