Habitat - Indoor :: wont go on dock

well my 3 turtles have gotten bigger and i hade a very nice rock in the tank, for more space i removed the rock and put one of those turtledock things in. i believe zoo med makes them. Now, it seems my turtles are afarid of the dock, they wont go on it. What can i do? Thanks

let them get used to the new dock, and they will eventually start basking again

If you are constantly watching, they may not choose to bask in front of you. Mine used to bask on their rocks, but when I upgraded the tank and put in a turtle dock, they stopped basking for me. If I want to watch them bask, I have to sneak up on them.

yeah thats how it used to be, i would come home from work and they would be layin there and when they saw me they would dive into the water, now they are never basking

u need to give it time it will get up there
i changed my basking spot like 3 times already they still go bask
they just need to get use to the new dock

Make sure it is easy to climb onto, that it is 10 degrees warmer than the water and maybe you should cover up the sides for some extra privacy.
