Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

I'm upgrading my hatchling Leo to a 30G tank that I acquired this weekend, however, I don't have the funds for a new tank stand and was looking for some cheap options as I think the heavier tank will be too heavy for the stand that his current tank is on. Thanks

I think you could go onto craigslist, type in aquarium or tank in the search. People are always getting rid of a lot of good stuff for really cheap, most people may be able to afford..

A sturdy coffee table would probably hold it.

There's always the option of cinder blocks and plywood :P Not attractive, but cheap. I built this one:

But it's for a 75 gal. (You could ajust it to make it smaller, or just search for a diy 30 gal stand.)
Other than that, as stray and Spots mama said, craigslist or a sturdy coffee table. 30G is ~250 lbs (full), so if you and a friend or two can sit on it, then it'll be alright for the tank.

If you search for "Reef+DIY" you will find a lot of sites for custom tanks and aquariums.
