Habitat - Indoor :: Rocks/gravel/ect for tank?

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

I had previously used fish gravel but changed to larger rocks because I heard the trurts will eat the fish gravel and after removing all the gravel I had found they did indeed eat the gravel. So I'm using a mixture of smaller/larger rocks but it doesn't filter the poop the same way the gravel did and I got a brilliant idea to use cat eye marbles, would that be okay?

As long as it cant fit in the turtles mouth it should be fine.

Okay, my turts are too small to eat the marbles I just didnt know if the chemicals in the glass could possibly harm them

Glass ones should be OK, though I notice a lot of them crack easily. Artificially colored rocks leech colors too.
