I am thinking of building a large plywood tank with a acrylic or glass window in the front. Not quite sure on the dimensions yet but its gonna be big. (100g+) I found some water proofing paints and i was wondering which is the best. Depending on the price of the glass/acrylic it will be 8 ft X 2ft X2ft which makes it 240 gallons :D

Epoxy Paint

Silicone tent stuff?

DryLok Masonry waterproof paint. (do you think this will stick to plywood as well)

Thanks

The paint you choose needs to stick to the fiberglass reinforced epoxy resin. Plywood tanks are more than just painting plywood with waterproof paint. Reefcentral has a bunch of build threads on plywood tanks.

EDIT On second thought - why not just used colored epoxy resin?

Here's a good build.. http://www.brentsmith-photography.com/8 ... lass-build
