Habitat - Indoor :: Relocation.

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

Today I relocated the tank.
It is currently in the back part of the house, near the kitchen/laundry area. There is a sliding door made of glass in front of a sink, and at the corner is an attached table/stand/corner counter where my tank sits. I am looking to being able to open the sliding door completely to let UV rays into the home, and hopefully have the tank hood open in the day to allow basking. The glass doors seem a little 'frosted' and translucent.
The sink there is convenient for water changes and wash-ups after a period of interaction with my turtles.
Speaking of interaction, Sunny seems to be the bravest of the trio. They would dive to the bottom when they see me but Sunny would usually stay at the top :B To allow them to warm up a little I decided to start feeding from my fingers - pinching a piece or two of turtle pellet or a small treat and allow them to eat off my fingers. They now come to the top when they see my fingers slightly above the water level xD Sunny got rather annoyed when I did not fully submerge my fingertips, so she poked me on the finger with her head/nose. XD
There are 3 kinds of people: Those who can count and those who can't.

UVB will be blocked entirely by glass and significantly through an insect screen. I'm not sure how big your tank is either, but small tanks can quickly overheat in sunlight.

A near by sink is great to have, do you also have a drain on the floor? I think those would be immensely helpful.
