Habitat - Indoor :: Appropriate tank size

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

I'm currently building my setup for a single res. I've got designs for what I hope to be a good atb which I'll post later. I was wondering about the aquarium size though. I read about the 10 gallons per inch of shell. Does that apply to multiple turtles the same? If I end up with 2 full grown females should I then ideally have a 240 gallon aquarium?

I would wait on getting a single 240 gallon aquarium. You may find that the turtles become aggressive toward each other and end up needing separate environments.
